For those that don't know, David contributed a gorgeous pin-up to Hard 8 Vol. 1, and has been a huge supporter of Hard 8 from the first moment he learned about it. But more than that, he's an incredibly talented artist and a super, super nice guy (you can see some samples of his work below, and make sure to check out his blog at www.davidbarkmann.blogspot.com). So of course we would have been more than thrilled to have him return as a pin-up artist for the upcoming Vol. 2... but imagine our excitement when David announced that this time around, he would contribute a full story! And it doesn't end there... David will be illustrating a story written by his friend, writer Phil' Chanoinat (who David referrs to as "a french specialist in gangsters stories"). The whole Hard 8 gang extends a warm welcome to both David and Phil', and we can't wait to see what they come up with. Welcome aboard, gentlemen!
